MILES CITY, MONTANA: Danielle Dinges is no amateur when it comes to the detailed and sometimes grueling side of Financial Aid.

Danielle has been working for MCC for five years in the Financial Aid Office. She oversees specifics dealing with federal financial aid, FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid), scholarships, admissions, and recruitment.

Her day-to-day duties vary, from answering student questions about financial aid to guiding and supervising campus tours or sitting in on financial aid webinars and training.

“I enjoy being connected to my colleagues,” said Danielle, when asked what her favorite part of working at MCC is. ”It’s nice to wake up happy about coming to work every day!”

Danielle hails from Helena, Montana and her first job was as a video clerk. She describes herself as generous, creative, helpful, resourceful, and kind and enjoys working in her department.

“My greatest achievement is my career so far is obtaining my FAAC through NASFAA (National Association of Student Financial Aid Administrators),” she stated. “I’ve held this for three years now and working on the credits to remain certified.”

In her free time, Danielle enjoys spending time with her family and reading. If she wasn’t currently working at MCC, she says she’d be likely working with a Health Department as some type of Health Education Specialist.

Danielle is also a huge Atlanta Braves fan and would love to see them play in their hometown stadium in Georgia.
