The Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities (NWCCU) will perform a Year Seven Comprehensive Evaluation of Institutional Effectiveness accreditation visit to Miles Community College (MCC) on April 20-22, 2022. An NWCCU evaluation team will be meeting with students, faculty, staff and MCC Board of Trustees. The purpose of the visit is to evaluate MCC’s compliance with NWCCU accreditation standards and policies.
Prior to this evaluation visit, members of the public may provide comment on MCC’s qualifications for accreditation. To be considered, all comments must be signed and delivered to NWCCU at least thirty days prior to the visit (March 20, 2022). Comments should be addressed to:
MCC is currently accredited through NWCCU and last had its accreditation reaffirmed in 2015. In 2016, MCC completed its Year One Evaluation of the current accreditation cycle. It completed its Mid-Cycle Evaluation in 2018. In 2021, MCC underwent its Year Six Standard 2 – Policies, Regulations, and Financial Review (PRFR). MCC’s Year Seven Self-Evaluation Report will be submitted to NWCCU in early March 2022. The report will be available on MCC’s website prior to the April evaluation visit.
