HELENA, MONTANA: Each year Montana Campus Compact recognizes one student-athlete from each affiliate campus across Montana who have dedicated their efforts to serving the community while also pursuing their college degrees/certificates and participating in college sports.
Representing Miles Community College on the list of recipients is Carson Houser. Houser is the MCC Rodeo Team Captain and actively volunteers in activities such as Domestic Violence Education, livestock judging, and seasonal and holiday activities in the Miles City community. This year in Miles City, Houser joined other MCC students and student athletes to successfully deliver goodie bags to 589 children for Halloween during a “Reverse Trick-or-Treat” event. He also is a leader for the Ag Advancement Center.
This year, 11 student athlete volunteers across Montana will be recognized by their school.
