MILES CITY, MONTANA: Students from Miles Community College will be hosting Fall Carnival Night on Tuesday, October 31 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm. This event held on the MCC campus will be a family-friendly Halloween-themed carnival with activities and treats for local school children.
The Fall Carnival Night is free and open to the public (no pre-registration necessary), and children are encouraged to dress in costume. Upon arrival on campus, families will be asked to sign in at Door C (the entrance facing Haynes Avenue) in Lucas Hall, the main administrative building.
“We are excited to host the Fall Carnival Night again,” commented Richard DeShields, Dean of Student Engagement and Auxiliary Services. “Students really value this opportunity to have direct interactions with the children.
Fall Carnival Night is hosted by MCC Student Senate and is part of the “MCC Cares” program, where MCC students track volunteer hours through community events and civic engagement
MCC Student Senate has spearheaded this carnival-style event, in conjunction with different student organizations across campus as well as Pioneer athletic teams, who will all be hosting booths and stations throughout the night. Activities will include balloon popping, slime stations, cupcake walks, pumpkin throws, temporary tattoos, and more.
“It’s great having all of the energy on campus, and I definitely appreciate seeing our students serve our community,” stated DeShields.
