Miles Community College was recently ranked 1st in Montana and 8th in the U.S. on the list of best community colleges released by WalletHub.com.
This list compiled the best and worst community colleges in the nation based on quality and affordability. WalletHub compared the cost and quality of over 700 community colleges. Among the items researched were, cost of in-state tuition and fees, student-faculty ratio and graduation rate.
“Miles Community College is extremely proud and humbled by this ranking,” commented MCC President Dr. Stacy Klippenstein. “We work hard to ensure a quality education while creating learning and living environments geared for student success. To be recognized for this hard work and dedication is gratifying. I am proud of our faculty, staff, and students.”
This is not the first time Miles Community College has received national recognition. The Aspen Institute has also ranked MCC in the top 10% of community colleges in the country for the last four consecutive award cycles. Fall classes begin Wednesday, September 5. There is still time to enroll for the fall semester. Applications will be accepted through August 30. Please contact the Admissions office with any questions, 406.874.6100.
