Ashley Larsen

Ashley recently received her Phlebotomy Certificate from MCC. She passed the Phlebotomy national board exam with a score that is not seen very often. The exam has six testing sections. MCC Professor Sharon O’Meara commented, “Ashley passed the test with flying colors. In two sections she received a score of 999. There is no higher grade. In all of my years of teaching, this is the first time I have had a student get a 999, and she got it in two categories!”

Ashley also volunteers to draw blood at the local community health fair and teaches CPR classes for the community. Ashley also applied for and received a grant for Prairie Hospital to receive a new AED.

Ashley lives in Terry, MT with her husband and 4 children. She has contributed a lot and continues to contribute a lot to her community. Miles Community College is proud to have played a part in Ashley’s successes. She is an asset to her community and to MCC.
