Miles Community College head volleyball coach Chase Soennichsen has announced that Briley Cook from Shepherd, MT will be joining the Pioneers for the 2018-2019 season.
Briley Cook – 5’3” – Defense
Shepherd, MT/ Shepherd High School
Briley is the daughter of Terry & Michelle Cook. She currently attends Shepherd High School. Briley is currently the chapter president of FCCLA and Student Council Senior Vice President. She is involved in Business Professionals of America and Future Farmers of America and is on the Honor Roll.
Cook was 1st in the conference in total digs and 8th in total aces. She was Honorable Mention All-Conference and was Shepherd’s 2017 Defensive MVP.
While at MCC, Briley plans to major in Nursing.
Cook on choosing MCC: “Miles Community College has a small town feel with the degree program I am interested in pursuing. I’m excited for the opportunity to play the sport I love at the next level.”
Coach Soennichsen on Cook: “Briley is an outstanding all around student/athlete. She is very driven on and off the court. She knows what it takes to be successful and has the drive to do so at the next level, she will be a great defensive addition to the Pioneer Program.”
