Choosing to attend Miles Community College was not only the best decision I could have made during that stage in my educational career, but also, it was a decision that continues to benefit me. The quality education I received at MCC not only provided me with an outstanding start to my education, but it was a crucial stepping-stone that has allowed me to be where I am today. I have always felt a quality education not only requires the academic aspect, but also involves the experiences, relationships, and memories that are created along the way. MCC provides students with so many opportunities to become involved in the community and around campus. The memories and connections I made while becoming involved have remained to be my most favorite and treasured experiences I have of college. The staff and teachers of Miles Community College provide an environment that is conducive to learning, where each and every student’s education is top priority.

It has been four years now since I have walked the halls of MCC as a student. I, along with many friends/former students, still cherish returning to MCC to see staff and teachers. People always say “hind-sight is 20/20” and that could not be truer for me as I realize all that MCC has done for me. After attending MCC for two-years, I received a scholarship to Montana State University-Bozeman. I transferred in as a junior and graduated in two years with a Business Finance degree. I now work for the U.S. Treasury Department, Office of the Comptroller of the Currency, as a bank examiner. MCC has, without a doubt, played a vital role in providing me a pathway to success and memories that will last a lifetime. You truly can go anywhere when MCC is your starting point!
