Provides career counseling, training, and education for individuals who are seeking employment.  Individuals are provided information on employment and training programs including classroom training and on-the-job training funded by state and federal programs.  Regularly scheduled workshops cover a wide range of topics including self-growth issues, computer literacy, labor market information and high wage/high demand employment opportunities.  A lending library and computer area with internet access is available for public use.  Employment specialists are available for assistance and referrals.

The program serves the Northern Cheyenne Reservation and is a correspondence for children to communicate with other children throughout the United States and the world.  Provides benefits for low-income children.  For example, help with school supplies, garden seeds to plant in the spring, and a Christmas exchange.

Administer services to preschool children of low-income families with a comprehensive program to meet their emotional, social, health, nutritional and psychological needs.  This is through four major components of Head Start, which are educational, health, parent involvement and social services.  In addition a disability program is provided in cooperation with DEAP for children ages newborn to five years.  Services are provided in seven different locations on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation and requirements are income and age limits of three years to five years.

Administer services to adolescents and adults, the adolescent program provides services to all adolescents through the age of nineteen, and the adult program is for adult only.  The adolescent program provides assessments, referrals, outpatient counseling, treatment, planning, group for adolescent through the age of 19 and their family members.  The adolescent program works with all service agencies on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.  The adult program works with all services agencies on the Northern Cheyenne Reservation.  The adult program provides assessment for chemical dependency, referrals for treatment, outpatient services for youth and adults.  15 day out-patients programs and lectures, family day program, home recovery program, aftercare services, transportation to and from various treatments, also offer assistance to clients needing bus fares to treatment centers, parent group meetings, and CODA (Co-dependency group, which meets weekly).  The only requirement for an individual to get help is the need for medical recovery of drug and alcohol addiction.

Administer services to Rosebud County (Lame Deer, Ashland, Colstrip, Forsyth, and Birney).  The service requires that the individual be over the age of sixteen and is no longer in school.  However, through their “Family Literacy” program they help children.  Services provide trained volunteer tutors with adults learning to read, write or those learning English as a second language.  Services provide tutor training for those interested, and they have the “Family Literacy” programs, which help parents or caregivers help their children with reading and writing.
