The Miles Community College center for Distance Education and Community Outreach (DECO) is sponsoring a one-day bus trip for a spectacular evening aboard the Charlie Russell Chew Choo!
Participants will depart Miles Community College, by bus on Saturday, September 11 at 11:00 a.m. Registration is due August 28. Sign up early as space is limited.
Your journey begins at Kingston Junction, follows the route of the old Milwaukee Railroad on the spur track that was built in 1912 to Denton, Montana, crossing three trestles, passing through a tunnel, all while enjoying a delicious prime rib dinner. The train includes climate controlled coaches, bathrooms, a no-host cash bar and music by area entertainers.
The Charlie Russell Chew Choo travels 56 miles round trip through the majestic mountains and prairies of central Montana. Experience the breathtaking sunsets and abundant wildlife of Big Sky Country. Rumor has it, hold-ups may occur by masked bandits.
